joevideo > Steve Pollock usually takes the pictures, but i wanted one with him. Steve is a good guy and I'll miss working with him.
joevideo > Here we are standing outside Steve Pollock's pod. Steve (our scheduling manager and resident "Jimmy Olsen") took all these pictures, and generally took all company photos. check him out via msnbc.smugmug.com. Thanks Steve(s) for being a good listener and colleague.
joevideo > Me, Lisa Scarpati and Gantt. Lisa was my team leader in the Electronic Graphics dept.
joevideo > The Management Team - Daurio, me, Gantt, Haig, Tucci and Fran Sevilla - my goodbye party, 6/14/2007 at "Cheeseburger in Paradise" in Secaucus

joevideo > There's too much to say about my good friend Steve Daurio. We have been work partners for 10 years and he's one of my best friends. We were both TPM's and Tech Managers together. We came up the ranks and were both in the process of planning the move of the facility to NY. With me gone, he's now the man all by himself. Steve is married to Cindy and has a daughter Kayla.
joevideo > Larry Tucci is one of friends and mentors. He and I started as TD's together (actually, I was a chyron op and he showed me how to TD) back at America's Talking. Larry moved on to Newsport as a director and i freelanced for him there as a TD. Larry came back to MSNBC when we launched as a TD and we TD'd together for a couple of years. Larry then became a director and I became a TPM. Finally, larry became a Tech manager, and 2 years later so did I. He helped me for the 6 years that we had the job together. Larry is now the Director of Operations for NBC Weather Plus. I will miss him alot. We used to hold "Cigar Talks" outside. I'm no smoker but i love a good cigar, and so does Larry. He even was brave enough to take me to Yankee games. He still has an offer from me to come to a Mets game of his choosing. Larry is married to Ann and has a son Zack and a daughter Lauren.
joevideo > Here I am talking to my wife Randi on the phone, on my last day. I have cleaned out my pod, rarely has it looked this spartan. On my desk are my VHS/DVD Player, and my ReplayTV DVR (records off-air 24 hours a day). These were left behind. We sat in a 3x2 pod configuration for 10 years. From left to right: Gantt, Steve Haig, Fran Sevilla; Steve Daurio, Me, Arielle & Karen. Maryellen used to sit at my desk; I used to sit at Steve Daurio's desk. Gantt has been at his the longest, nearly 10 years.
